In order to pass inspection, we took our car to Big O to replace the brake pads and the rotors and put a missing screw into the caliper. Right after the work was done, the brakes were squealing. I went back and told them that. Cameron, the manager, told me that the brakes did that at first to adjust to the new brakes. The squeak was loud and it didn't feel right. I went back three more times just to get the same story. Then our brakes felt like they were grinding. We took it in and left it, telling them something was really wrong. They looked into it and said the caliper had locked on and burned through our pads. They fixed the damage and charged us over $300.00 more. Cameron said that was our problem and if we wanted our car back, we had to pay the money. I feel that if he would have checked the first time or on any of the other times, we would have not had this problem go out of control and cost us so much money. I don't feel they upheld their brake warranty.

I took my van to the Big O in Cathedral City, CA to check the rotors, as the van shimmied when braking. They called and told my husband it needed rotors, struts and fluids, etc. My husband did say to do what was needed. $2,000 later, I looked over the bill and they changed the brake fluid and transmission fluid for a total of more than $200. Well, those two things had been done by the Honda dealership just two weeks before! I'm furious but was it my husband's fault? Should they know that those fluids were new?

I paid in advance to have transmission flush, radiator flush, fuel injection kit, plugs and plug caps, air filter, fuel filter, PCV valve, and more. They promised it would be done to fit the work schedule on two different days. I ended up missing three days' work. They charged for repairs that weren't even done. They lied to put at risk as far as safety and damages to my car, and I still haven't had the car serviced for all I paid for.

I had just taken my Lexus 450h in for its 30,000-mi. maintenance, which included alignment. The next day, I purchased Michelin tires for approximately $1,200 from Big-O. When I drove the car, I noticed it was pulling to the left, so I brought the car back the next day and waited another hour and a half to get the car in. When the car was ready, I drove home and noticed that it still pulled to the left. So I brought it back for the third time and this time I "got an attitude" from the manager. After another hour's wait, they gave me the car and I test drove it - it appeared to still pull to the right, but I was late for a meeting and didn't want to have to wait another hour.

Two days later, I drove the car from Vail to Denver (120 miles) and had Lexus look at it. Lexus corrected the problem (3 of the 4 wheels were out of alignment) and drove back home. Considering the cost, the attitude and the fact that Big-O couldn't get the alignment right after three tries, they've lost my business forever. This was poor service and poor attitude.

I had taken my car, a '93 Ford Tempo, to Big O to have repairs done. I figured it's a well-known, large company and I would get great service. This is for everyone else to decide whether I got great service or not. On 8/30/2012, I had taken my car because the brakes didn't feel right. I had new brake pads, rotors and calipers put on costing a total of $466.07. I took it back because it still didn't feel right on 9/06/2012 and had to have new brake hoses put on. That was free under warranty from above. On 9/13/2012 I had both outer tie rod end replaced for $194.35. Then on 10/16/2012, I was back up there. The driver's side axle and front spindle needed to be replaced. So after spending $1,191.52 on front end of the car, I thought finally! The car should stop on a dime and spit out 5 cents!

Then on 12/30/2012, driving down the road, a car came into my lane! I hit my brakes only doing 50mph. The car jerked to the right, putting into a ditch. Luckily no one else was hurt, but my back had an L2 compression fracture. The impact tore out the drive shaft of the car. Needless to say, I have been trying to find a lawyer who will take the case. It has been unsuccessful! Needless to say I had to total out the vehicle for the simple fact that I could pay to store and bills while unable to work. My life has been turned upside down because I believe they didn't do something right. To see the commercials on TV how Big O is good karma for your car makes me sick to my stomach. It didn't give me nor my car good karma did it? I had never had that kind of trouble out of that car until I took it there!

My back still hurts and on top of everything, I have no car and have to depend on other people. Put them out because I feel the people who fixed my car didn't fix it at all! Someone please help me! I feel I have been done a big injustice by this company. All I have are the invoices from the repair work they've done to my car. If this keeps someone else safe, then that's great! I will never trust Big O tires again! I will never recommend them anyone ever! Thanks for reading.

My daughter, a single mother, took her car to Big O for a set of tires. She was quoted one price and was charged a much higher price when she checked out. They scared her into replacing her brakes, which were perfectly fine. They charged her over $600 for her rear brakes, which I priced out the parts through NAPA auto parts for $113, and that's retail price. So I figured they got the parts for around $55 to $60. $600 - $55 = $545. $545 for an hour's worth of work. These people are scammers! They legally rip people off everyday and take advantage of young, single moms. They should be ashamed! They are crooks and should be arrested. I will tell all my neighbors, friends and co-workers that Big O employees are thieves. I'm also filing a complaint with the BBB. I know nobody really cares. This is the American way of doing business and it makes me sick! Big O makes me sick!

I hate my local Big O Tires. I had my front brake pads replaced and the rotors less than a year ago. It is covered under their warranty (60,000 miles/2years, which ever comes first). Well I have been hearing a squeaking, more of a creak noise, when braking and took it to them twice. The service is just terrible. I mean horrible. They are not interested in helping with your issue, just the cash that falls out your pocket. They were in a rush to tell me what was wrong with my car and I went in with a brake check (that they neglected to fix, denying there was anything wrong). Well I left and my check engine light comes on. Buyers beware. We can stop this cruel justice system of fraud and deception! Never again!

I went to Big O in Yuma, AZ to get new wheel and tires on my Suzuki Samari that I just bought. I showed them the style, and they said they were okay and they put them on and new tires. I left there and went to an auto repair shop for other business, and the man at the repair shop said the wheels were the wrong size and the hubs had been damaged. I went back to Big O and told them, and they said that since I had driven the auto with the wheels on it, I could no longer get a refund. How can I get my money back or get the correct wheels on the car?

The tire clerk over at Rancho and Torrey Pines spoke down to me while he was explaining to me cost to replace the tire. He was unwilling to come down on the price, which was $85+, and it would be 30 to 40 minutes to fix my tire. The clerk lost my business as soon as he told me, "Am I done talking," while he was talking. How rude. He said the business across the street would be within 50 cents of his price. What a liar.

I don't shop where people are rude. I went across the street to Discount Tire where they had so many pleasant workers and told me they would do it for $69 (sell me the same tire as Big O put on for $20 cheaper) out the door with insurance on all the tires, even the ones the Big O put on before. They put my new tire on in 10 minutes, which was faster than Taco Bell (which was next to them) could make a burrito for me. That is my last time going over to Big O.

Originally, the gear switch wouldn't work. They said it was the brake switch problem. They said that they fixed it but, within 24 hours, it didn't work again. Now they said that it was the fuse problem. So I have to pay more to fix the fuse, and on top of that, the horn is also worn out. Now a week later, the horn is going off constantly. This means they broke my horn as well. I'm never going there to fix again. I have never seen a deal with so much follow up problems. It is simply a headache to even deal with them.

I go to my local Big O where I purchased my tires to get them rotated. They told me it should take only thirty minutes, so I waited in the store. After an hour, they came and told me that three of my five studs on one of the wheels have been stripped and that they need to be replaced. The stud is a two dollar part, but they charge a ridiculous amount in labor. I asked them if they would be willing to reduce the cost of the labor because they stripped it. Naturally, they refused to help me out. They held my car hostage by making it unable to drive, then refuse to fix it until I pay them. I wish I would have taken my chances and driven the car somewhere else.

Racist personnel at S. Main St. in Longmont, Colorado - I went in for 4 tire purchase and alignment. Everything was fine with the first guy who helped me. I dropped off my truck, and when I came back to pick it up, a different guy charged me and told me that they couldn't do the alignment because a damaged part is in my truck - right inner tie rod. He wrote it down in my receipt because I couldn't understand. The guy said, "I don't write Mexican!" I told him "You don't need to write Mexican! I just need you to write it in nice letters!" So he said again, "Well I don't write Mexican!" I got pissed off! I will never return to this store again. It was my worst experience ever on buying tires! It totally sucked! It also sucks that I don't have a witness to take this case to court for racism! There were few people behind me, but I do not know them.

I stopped into my local Big O where I had been going for years. I even bought a set of tires a couple of years ago, and to keep the warranty, I was told I had to have the rotations done at a Big O location. Okay. So, I left my car with them last Saturday and went for a stroll in the nearby strip mall. I received a call on my cell about 45 minutes later telling me they only found one thing wrong and I needed to hurry back and they would show me the problem. So I headed back, and Ray told me to come into the shop where they have my car up on the rack. Another guy grabbed my left rear tire and started pushing and pulling it back and forth and telling me, "Look how much play there is." I'm told that it's a bad left rear hub assembly and I better get it replaced immediately. They warned me about how awful it would become if I didn't do something right away. There was a real sense of urgency from both of them.

Ray then said that the part would run about $600 and the labor about $125. I immediately went home to the computer to look up the hub assembly part. I found a Suzuki, my make, factory parts website. I gave them a call. They quoted me $277 for the part. I called Big O and asked if they would install a part that I ordered online. Oh no, we can't do that. Okay. Next day, I went to get a second opinion at a friend's shop specializing in front and rear-end stuff. They put it up on the rack and found hardly any play in the left rear tire. I was furious and went back to Big O to tell them what I learned. No denial, no apology, just a 'Hey, you're lucky it disappeared.' I guess they thought they were dealing with a dumb woman. I showed them. This is the Yucca Valley, CA Big O.

I got the oil changed, but not the tire rotation & the tire pressures weren't even checked. I asked them if they had done it & they said yes. I may not go back. I've been a customer for several years! This was on 10/19/2012 at the Big O Tires, 2020 S. Rural Rd. Tempe location.

I am a do-it-yourself person on my car, and I am extremely choosy on where I take it. I figure that for things such as tires, alignments, and others that I couldn't do because I didn't have the tools, I like to take it to Big O. I have chosen to take my car to Big O because of the ability to use my RC Willey card there - huge mistake. Every Big O I have taken it too has tried fooling me into fixing things didn't need fixing. They are only fishing for a quick buck, instead of being honest and earning my repeat business. I thought it was just the one shop at first, but every single one I tried seemed to be less and less honest, and more and more inexperienced. I just had some major car repairs that they had quoted almost $900 for, and I had trained mechanics with upgraded parts for under $400 -extremely overpricing labor costs and tripling the cost of the parts. I will never take my car to another Big O. Shady crooks - I will tell everyone I know not to go there. Sorry Big O, you've lost yet another customer.

Big O Tires had an advertisement on TV: Buy 2 tires, get 2 for free. On Monday, November 12, 2012, I went with my wife to one of their stores at 6052 Cerritos Cypress, CA 90630 to get a quote, and they quoted us around $575.00 in total. I asked that I needed to buy 2 tires and get the other 2 for free, as the sign outside the store as well as the TV advertisement said, but they didn't have any answers for us. They said that they didn't have that offer for my wife's car, but their advertising said any car. By the way, my wife's car is a '99 Chrysler Cirrus, tires size 205/65/15. Thanks.

Okay, so this is like my 4th time in taking my car here and I don't know why I went back this last time. I guess for the benefit of the doubt, another chance kind of thing like God would do. So the last time, I told them to not roll down my windows because they are broken, to keep the car parked in neutral and to just drop the hood down and don't push on it. Over and over, I told them and wrote it down for them. But what happened? There was a dent on my hood because they pushed it down and this was the second time they did this. They rolled down my windows. They drove my car 20 miles wasting gas. They did not park it in neutral with the parking brake on.

It is common sense to off first to drop the hood and not push down on it. Common sense! Common sense to park the car in neutral with parking brake on. Common sense not to touch the AC or the radio. But what did they do? The first time they messed with my system that I invested more than $1,000 in. I was so angry with these men. They also put oil all over and never cleaned up their mess in the vehicle. I was watching them worked on my car to figure out why the front end was shaking. It took 4 guys under my car, 35 minutes and still they could not figure it out. They were dumb and knew nothing about cars and respect of people's livelihoods. Our hard earned money went into these cars. Then they told me my tires were coming apart and I really went fully bored on this. Telling me I need all new tires when I had just bought these tires months ago. They were saying the same thing to the women who came in next to me. These people were beyond rude and inconsiderate and no one should go there because it's the worst place ever! No benefit of the doubt people.

Back in 2007, I needed tires so I purchased a set of the Big O Tires, Bigfoot 235 75 15s from a local Big O Tires store. They were close to a job that I was on, for a Ford E-150 van. I really don't spend a lot of time looking at my tires (I will now) and let the technician at my local auto shop worry about the air pressure. This is a light duty vehicle that I use as a materials truck (pick up and deliver materials to my jobs).

Anyhow, yesterday, I heard what sounded like air hissing next to a rear tire. Upon inspection, I realized that the upper side wall of the tire had simply cracked and air was leaking through. Upon closer inspection, I almost fell over when I saw that the lower side wall was actually coming completely apart and the tread was decomposing. Needless to say, I inspected the other three tires and found one other tire with decomposing tread and the side wall falling off, and two tires that were just rotted. I also noticed that the tires that I had purchased in 2007 were date stamped from 2003, 2004, and 2005. I was purchasing a four-year-old tire as a new tire, meaning that I could expect (on average) another three years of life. No wonder they were falling apart.

So now, I called a Big O Tires store a few minutes from my office and asked them if this was normal. The response was as follows: "Tires only have a serviceable life of 7 years; your tires are out of warranty (this was due to the date stamped on the tire)." When I questioned this response by saying that I purchased two-, three-, and four-year-old tires as new from one of their stores just under 7 years ago, the response was ... Like I said, the statement was repeated. At this point, I questioned the safety of the tires that they are selling, and argued that regardless of his response, these tires are lethal. I was at this point informed, by the the person on the phone, that I could always file a complaint with the Dept. of Consumer Affairs if I was not satisfied with his answers. Woo hoo, now that's service ...

In the end, I visited America's Tire Company (my other work and personal vehicles tires were all purchased here) and had a set of Hankooks installed, no more Big O Tires brand for any of my vehicles. Funny thing, while I was purchasing tires at America's Tire, the salesman mentioned that my tires were most likely on one of the numerous recalls that Big O Tires has had over the past decade or so, and that I could probably get them replaced. My response was, "These are Big O Tires. What will they replace them with, the same tires?" The salesman laughed and replied, "I get your point, let's get you some tires that won't fall apart on you."

So, if you've had good experiences with Big O Tires, kudos. Just remember that the tires you like so much today could kill you tomorrow. On a positive note, you'll die happy. Cheers.

To make a long story short, the family (including mother-in-law) has spent well over a thousand or two (probably more) in services from the Show Low, AZ Big O store. The store is really good in replacing defective tires from road hazards. I spent over $900.00 on four truck tire last April and received a mail-in rebate for $75.00. I sent it off right away, never received the rebate and the rebate company and manager at the tire shop could not help, must have gotten lost. I was out of luck (without much sympathy from either). All I can say is don't expect much support with your rebates and please send them off certified!

I had been going to Big-O for around 4 years and had all my private and company vehicles' tires purchased at this location, and had agreed to a 10% Corporate discount. We moved our business to a larger location around 5 miles from our previous location and never really established a relationship with any local tire company.

I decided 3 weeks ago to tell my people to start bringing our truck fleet tires and our company vehicles (was only 3 and now 9) back to Big-O. Both my wife and I headed out on a Saturday morning to get her 2 new tires and get a leaking tire fixed on my car. We arrived and went inside to get a salesperson and ** greeted us. I brought him out to my wife's vehicle and showed him the tires we wanted replaced. To my surprise, they were really worn. He then went to the back 2 tires and said, "Oh, these need replacing as well." I looked at them and there was plenty of tread but there was a little cracking along the wall.

I told him that we will look at these the next time we came by and he commented, "If it was my family in the car, then I would change them for their safety." What a comforting comment for my wife and our 3 kids. It sounded like he hoped we did have an accident to prove his expertise. I told him that I work in the car industry and those tires are fine for another 5k miles at least. He shook his head whilst I then brought him over to my car and showed him the tire that needed repair. He then said, "If I were you, I would just replace all 4 tires on both cars."

By this time my wife was questioning whether or not it was even safe to step in the car with both our tires' conditions. I proceeded to tell him that I wanted 2 tires to be replaced on my wife's car and 2 on the back of my car since 1 was damaged beyond repair and that required 2 new tires. We went back inside. I was already steaming at this point, and mentioned that we had a Corporate discount. He said, "I don't think so," and then looked up our account and said, "The last time you bought tires was 2009, so sorry, no discount." He refused to take a look at the previous bills, where the discount was clearly stated. I told him that he should not be dealing with the public and left the store.

We went to America's Tire and without mentioning my previous incident, asked about my wife's tires and he said, "They are fine. You only need 2 on the back and 2 for your car." Ooops. Here we go Big-O. Same tactics as Jiffy ** eh? Great job. Do you school your people in cheating out the public? Well, in this case, you lose Big-O. I sit on the CRRN (California Recycled Rubber Network) and speak on a National Scale on recycled tires. I know a bit about tires and wear since I work with tires every day. Are all your centers as crooked as the one ** works at? What a real shame. I experienced a similar thing at Circuit City and see where that got them! Thank goodness for competition.

If this message makes its way up the flag pole one day, I would take a serious look at your policies Big-O. You are looking at this short term since over-selling clients on their actual needs will only hurt you in the end. Truth does not hide in darkness and eventually the word will get out. I run a retail business Nationwide and hold an A+ rating in customer service. I did not expect this from your company but I did expect honesty. My story will be read by thousands so the profits you gain from this sort of activity will most likely be lost though loss of future income. I ALWAYS consider that if there is 1 complaint, then there are another 9 people not bothering to complain. In this case it has to be in the tens of thousands with so many franchises out there.

The Big-O address is: 42098 Washington Street Bermuda Dunes, CA 92203. The criminal that handled our case was the master salesperson **. Contact our Corporate Office at ** or our National Consumer Relations Department at ** or by filling out this form. We are eager to hear your concerns, comments or praise. We have been loyal Big O customers for 10 years and have bought several full sets of tires at the Mae Anne Avenue store in Reno, NV. We have also had all car maintenance for four different cars done at this store over the same amount of time. Over 10 years, we've probably spent in excess of $7,500 at this store. We bought a tire at the Mae Anne Avenue (Reno, NV) Big O tires shop on 9/6/12 that supposedly was covered for the life of the tire. Their flat repair policy says that a tire will be repaired if a repair is possible or replaced if it cannot be repaired. Nothing was stated at the time of purchase indicating that this guarantee applies only to their store brand tires.

On 9/28/12, the tire failed due to a road hazard. There was a pinch in the side wall of the tire near the rim that the employees insisted was road hazard damage. Perhaps it was. Things happen. Understandably, sidewall damage is not repairable. Perhaps naively, I assumed they would replace the tire. This is when things got bad. ** (sales rep) and ** (manager) insisted that while their Big O tires are covered for such events, this tire (Goodyear) was not. I asked them to show me a place in writing where it was stated that their coverage only applied to store brand tires. They could not because it does not exist! Incidentally, since I was buying only one tire at the time the tire was purchased, I was not offered the road hazard protection that they generally try to pawn off on every person who walks through the door.

The manager (**) basically called me a liar when I told him that I would have purchased the protection had it been offered. It just got better from there. Apparently, in the three weeks that elapsed between purchasing the first tire and a replacement, the price doubled. The original $120 tire was now $250. We'll be taking our (now) five cars up the road for future service. Upon visiting the tire shop across the street, they chuckled when I told them the story and stated that they get several people a week into their shop with the same experience. Big-O definitely won't get my next $5,000 worth of service dollars! In fact, they won't receive another red cent from me or anybody in my family.

I called a Big O Tire store asking if they had a used 215/65/16 in stock. The person on the phone said, "no but we have plenty of 225/65/16." I let him know that's too wide for my car and this is where I began to learn what type of people work for Big O Tires. He said to me, "you mean too tall; 225/65/16 are taller than 215/65/16." I corrected him by saying, "I think you're confused because the first number indicates width." He became angry with me and said, "I've been in the business 40 years." I said, "All that tells me is you've been incorrect for 40 years." He then decided to hang up the phone.

I called back and asked for the manager. I really believed that the person that hung the phone up on me was just a worker that didn't have a clue about how to do his job. Well, the owner jumps on the phone and says, "I'm the owner and I was talking to you." I figured I would be informing a manager that his worker didn't have a clue about tires. I didn't know it would be the owner that didn't have a clue. This being said, I let him know I would be informing Big O corporate about this. I asked for his name; he stated, "Carl." He then felt a need to brag about how he already knew my complaint would fall on deaf ears. He proceeded to say that if I had any more issues, I can come up to the store.

I completely took it as a threat since the tire size I was looking for was not in stock. I ended the conversation and called corporate. I was speaking with a lady named Ellen when I realized Carl was right about my complaint falling on deaf ears. Ellen wanted to laugh at my complaint and show me how unprofessional someone can be in an upsetting situation. After she showed me her colors, I asked for a superior to which she stated, "I am my superior." I repeated what she just told me and she began to laugh once again. I was told I would receive a phone call from an area manager as well as a district manager. I'm still waiting. I believe I'm in need of a written apology from the store owner.

Big O Liars - I stopped in for a flat tire repair. I had a coupon for a free balance and rotation so I thought I'd get that done while they had my vehicle. The salesperson said that my wheels were too big for a free balance and it would normally cost $80. But since I had a free coupon, they would only charge $40 for the balance. I opted for the flat repair ($16.99) and a free rotation. They plugged the tire and never did the tire rotation. I am very disappointed in their lack of professionalism. I will never go back to Big O Tires at Palmer Park and Powers.

Wow, I just got played. I had a flat tire replaced at Big O Tires and walked out the door. It's $173 for a single tire. One phone call later, I get a better price from their competitor. So after speaking with their manager via phone, I was told it would be honored and matched. Two days later, I come in and the same guy I talked to on the phone tells me he will not match their compactor's price (more than $70 difference). I am shocked and disappointed. Perhaps if I was 10 years older and one of those alpha males on beta-blockers, would I have been treated differently? I just don't go to Big O Tires. It doesn't feel too good to get played.

I got a new set of tires and wheels put on today by Big O Tires in San Mateo, 2160 South El Camino Real, CA. After the job was done, they put the old tires and wheels on the back of my truck still mounted together. I told the owner that I did not want the old useless tires anymore, and he said it does not include dismounting the old tires and disposal. He was very rude. He told me I did not mention disposing the old tires. I told him when I go to Costco, I don't need to say I no longer want the old tires and Costco would not let me drive home with all the junk on the back. Everything was understood and all price would be included.

I looked at the pile of old tires and wheels on the back of my truck, and I was thinking "Do I really need to tell you that I don't want them anymore? Do you expect me to dismount the tires myself and throw away the tires in my backyard." Anyway, he said he wanted $40 more, and I said, "I do it somewhere else." I drove away with all the junk on the back of my truck, and I was pissed! Normally, I'm a Costco customer, but they no longer have the size of the tires which I need.

We purchased 4 BF Goodrich tires for our 2012 Dodge Ram Express. They had trouble getting them balanced and we ended up with layers of stick on weights. On the drive home the tires felt bumpy. When we pulled into the garage, some of the weights fell on onto the floor. We decided to go back to the Dodge Dealer (we only had 92 miles on the truck) for them to rebalance the tires/wheels. They used Road Force equipment and discovered that the tires had a wobble and couldn't be balanced. We had to buy 4 new tires so we could get home.

Today, we took the tires back to Big O for a refund since they had less than 20 miles on them and were defective. Big O will not refund any of our money because they are saying the tires are used! They won't even read the detailed description and printout from the Dodge dealer. Don't buy tires at Big O. They won't refund your money once you drive away. We were ripped off.

I was billed thousands of dollars for parts & work never done! My teenage son has been driving back and forth to college in a car that Big O Tires here in Tustin, CA supposedly fixed. We took the car to a Honda dealership today, showed them receipts for repairs and work Big O supposedly did and parts they claimed to order. None of it was done! So my son was driving on the freeway with his car suddenly stopping, then having to pull over asap and wait 15-20 minutes on the shoulder of the freeway and streets before starting the car. This is simply deceiving, unethical, and dangerous! To think that a business would put lives in danger for their own greed and the "almighty dollar" is beyond disgusting. Karma, what goes around comes around and this business obviously needs some serious exposure. I should contact a local news station, and have them go with us, receipts and pictures in hand to show consumers what liars Big O is really all about.

Simple tire rotation and alignment - I have been going to Big O Tires for four years consistently; never have I gone anywhere else. This time however, I went, dropped off my car and came back to a broken stud in the hub, two lug nuts, and 1/2 bolt that wasn't even the same tread size as the original lug nuts. Driving my car home, I noticed a violent shake and rattle in the steering wheel. I got home to find that I could loosen the 1/2 inch bolt with my bare hands and that it was on the front right passenger side of the vehicle (front wheel drive). Being that my safety was on the line, I stopped driving my car and had to tag a lug nut off the back and put it on the front. I called Big O the next day to tell them my situation and the management took no notice and told me it was a wearable item. I had a second opinion from three different companies. They all told me they would not have let me leave their store in that type of condition (safety hazard). So I went back to Big O Tires and asked to talk to the owner. He insulted my intelligence and lost a valuable customer to save him and the store a total of $200 and the disregard to my safety.

I took my vehicle to Big O when I got a nail in my tire. Carlos told me that where the nail was, they couldn't repair the tire and we would have to replace it. He told me that they didn't have the same tire I had on my car and that he could see if they had something similar. He found a more expensive tire, and I told him to find me something less expensive. He did and told me that he would get the tire in the next day and have it put on my rim and he would call me to let me know it was ready.

The next day, there's no call. I finally called and spoke to someone, who was oblivious to what was going on. He finally found my tire and assured me that it would be on the rim and that when I showed up the next morning, it would be good to go. I showed up the next morning and spoke to Joshua, and the tire was not on my rim. I was informed that they ordered the exact same tire I had on my car and it should be in that afternoon and that if it didn't come in, they would put the other tire on the rim. Either way, they would have my tire ready and they would call me. I never got a call.

My husband took my vehicle over there in the afternoon, and nothing had been done. They said the tire they ordered would be in Monday, and my husband told them to put the other tire on the car. They wanted to argue the issue, because the tire they ordered would be in Monday and this tire didn't match my current tread. They never communicated to me that they were ordering the tire until that morning. They never asked me if I wanted the tire. By this time, my husband had had enough and told them to put the tire on the vehicle and he didn't care if the tire matched. I will never take my car back to Big O. Carlos and Joshua were very disrespectful, and I feel they're dishonest. They got no communication skill.

The employees at Big O Tires do not have dignity and do not show respect to their clients. My husband was there and heard the same quote as I did. But when I picked up the car, the quote was more than double. I had to keep the car all day for a two to three hour job because the parts that were checked the other day, which were said to be right, were actually wrong. I have composed a 4-page letter in detail which will be going to the BBB and to whomever grants a franchise. In case anyone cares, this was at the Loveland store! I will not choose "Big O Tires" ever again!
