Huge disappintment

What a major downgrade from the old version. Not only are so many useful features gone, but the app is full of bugs.
Practically every other time I write a new line, something will happen where dialogue and deportment from a different part of the script volition become mashed together on the screen with what I'chiliad currently editing, making information technology impossible to read or write.
And then every few lines I at present accept to salvage, close the script, and reopen it if I want to get any real writing washed.

I cannot write an important story because this app keeps crashing every time I type a single letter. After crashing and reopening, the projection saves the script in a William S. Burroughs "cut-up" method, and phrases missing all together. I don't have a lot of money as information technology is (my life choice of wanting to be a screenwriter), and so my centre and soul aches then much knowing I can't properly compose my work. I had to update to the Large Sur OS and my former illegally downloaded Celtx from 2010 became obsolete, hence making the spring into this super expenisve crummy software. How does 1 fifty-fifty justify spending that much money on something that doesn't actually exist. Well, I suppose because the older version has treated me and so kindly over the years and I'm naive plenty to recall people (and the people behind art tools such every bit Celtx) create to help and support others, just as I strive for with my own work. I guess I'll exist bad and wander the cyber streets to find an old celtx again that is compatibe with this newer OS? Yes perchance I'll catch the handclapping, just that burn will be worth it for the passion of writing.

Glitchy and Limited

This app has been a disappoinntment and a waste of money... First, the bugs: you can't employ. the stageplay format to open up anything, just to create. Shut your project or have it crash on you, and you will not be able to open it once more, because every time y'all try to open up a file writtten in stageplay format (American AND international). Lost thirteen pages of work recently because I couldn't open it dorsum upwardly. Likewise, there seem to be quite a few features from the website missing from the app, which makes no sense to me; I paid because I wanted more specific features. The specific 1 that comes to mind is the dual dialogue selection. That featture is only an choice on the website. Don't waste your money with this app.
